The Sanskrit word dehī means “embodied.” Although one is within this material body, by his advancement in spiritual knowledge he can be free from the influence of the modes of nature. He can enjoy the happiness of spiritual life even in this body because, after leaving this body, he is certainly going to the spiritual sky. But even in this body he can enjoy spiritual happiness. In other words, devotional service in Kṛṣṇa consciousness is the sign of liberation from material entanglement, and this will be explained in the Eighteenth Chapter. जिन्हें जानकर हम उसे समझ सकें और अपने में भी उस स्थिति को पाने का प्रयत्न कर सकें वह जगत् में किस प्रकार व्यवहार करेगा तथा जगत् के साथ उस ज्ञानी का संबंध किस प्रकार का होगा प्रश्न पूछने के लिये एक अवसर पाकर अर्जुम पूछता है","sourceLocator":"bhagavadgita_chapter_14_slok_20.json#/chinmay/hc","sourceUrl":"https://github.com/vedicscriptures/bhagavad-gita","sourceCommit":"43dfc8db815d01e15a347ea294b089334cf2aa17","alignmentStatus":"machine-validated; human review pending","checksum":"53d41cdc95ff4097f040c16df4ebfbac7410eb65aaf8d5358e852ad7ec0409da","corpusVersion":"gita-commentaries-0.2.0"},{"id":"swami-gambirananda-et:source:14.20","canonicalRef":"gita.14.20","chapter":14,"verse":20,"authorId":"swami-gambirananda","author":"Swami Gambirananda","editionId":"swami-gambirananda-et","fieldCode":"et","language":"en","script":"Latn","contentType":"translation","content":"14.20 Having transcended these three alities which are the origin of the body, the embodied one, becoming free from birth, death, old age and sorrows, experiences Immortality.","sourceLocator":"bhagavadgita_chapter_14_slok_20.json#/gambir/et","sourceUrl":"https://github.com/vedicscriptures/bhagavad-gita","sourceCommit":"43dfc8db815d01e15a347ea294b089334cf2aa17","alignmentStatus":"machine-validated; human review pending","checksum":"62fa5b8402fe96cb3e0d3e2d1b6402e77f03a32ac9c6dded2b29f43fe918db97","corpusVersion":"gita-commentaries-0.2.0"},{"id":"swami-ramsukhdas-hc:source:14.20","canonicalRef":"gita.14.20","chapter":14,"verse":20,"authorId":"swami-ramsukhdas","author":"Swami Ramsukhdas","editionId":"swami-ramsukhdas-hc","fieldCode":"hc","language":"hi","script":"Deva","contentType":"commentary","content":"।।14.20।। ,"sourceLocator":"bhagavadgita_chapter_14_slok_20.json#/rams/hc","sourceUrl":"https://github.com/vedicscriptures/bhagavad-gita","sourceCommit":"43dfc8db815d01e15a347ea294b089334cf2aa17","alignmentStatus":"machine-validated; human review pending","checksum":"01bb5aab5b68b80549a63b5f305b74eaa325b6457317b6e551d97479ba4f933f","corpusVersion":"gita-commentaries-0.2.0"},{"id":"swami-ramsukhdas-ht:source:14.20","canonicalRef":"gita.14.20","chapter":14,"verse":20,"authorId":"swami-ramsukhdas","author":"Swami Ramsukhdas","editionId":"swami-ramsukhdas-ht","fieldCode":"ht","language":"hi","script":"Deva","contentType":"translation","content":"।।14.20।। ,"sourceLocator":"bhagavadgita_chapter_14_slok_20.json#/rams/ht","sourceUrl":"https://github.com/vedicscriptures/bhagavad-gita","sourceCommit":"43dfc8db815d01e15a347ea294b089334cf2aa17","alignmentStatus":"machine-validated; human review pending","checksum":"a3c4860675b377c2641c0f16c2bba336e8e79bc8f6b355e713ff86d29af4bd15","corpusVersion":"gita-commentaries-0.2.0"},{"id":"swami-sivananda-ec:source:14.20","canonicalRef":"gita.14.20","chapter":14,"verse":20,"authorId":"swami-sivananda","author":"Swami Sivananda","editionId":"swami-sivananda-ec","fieldCode":"ec","language":"en","script":"Latn","contentType":"commentary","content":"14.20 गुणान् Gunas?
